My  Little Pony: Keep on Flying

Mechanics and Game Systems for a Mobile Game

Concept

At the start of the course  Game Mechanics, we had the mandate to create a fight mechanic  and a  navigation mechanic  for a game on the platform of our choice. This without knowing the other mechanics and systems that would be required for the rest of the game. We had to adapt  to the new  requests  everytime.

In the following documents, you can find my
  mechanics  and  systems  created for a game  mobile  that I named  My Little Pony  : Keep on Flying .

I had a lot of fun
  to create  and  document  these mechanics and systems.

 

I hope you will have as many  pleasure  to read them that I had to do them!

Basic mechanics

Fast flight

​

When the player maintains his finger on the screen,  Rainbow Dash flies faster.

​

Watch out for the energy gauge!

The player must manage his energy gauge to ensure that he does not run out of it during his flight. 

Tornado

​

A special Rainbow Dash attack that uses the energy gauge.  

​

The player must manage his energy gauge to make his special attacks.

Social Mechanics

Sharing Rainbows â€‹

Asynchorne Social Mechanics.

Share rainbows with friends to help them.

​

Be careful not to have them stolen by Discord!

Turn-based combat

​

Synchronous Social Mechanics.

​ Compete against your friends in turn-based multiplayer.

​

You have to manage your energy gauge and types of attacks well.

Climate change
